Directed Call Pick-up on Snom Terminals

_SARK UCS/MVP _ supports Directed Call Pickup for Snoms. This means that the user can pick up a ringing call by pressing the flashing BLF key. Obviously, BLF needs to be set up for the extension(s) you wish to pickup. In order to use this feature your Snom phone must be running Release 7 of the Snom SIP stack.

Setup is very straightforward. It can be done manually or through the snom provisoning window in the SARK extensionsedit screen.

Manual Setup

In the snom function keys menu set your BLF entries as follows...

Here we are adding two BLF keys for extensions 4116 and 5002 and we are specifiying directed call pickup with the |*8 clause. Save your changes and the feature is ready to use.

Set up your provisioning window as shown below..

Issue a commit and reboot your phone.
