SARK UCS/MVP Devices Panel

SARK UCS/MVP _ Devices Panel is the place where IP Device templates are declared.

Many definitions are pre-provided for you as part of the SARK/SAIL V2.1 installation (although not all have been tested at time of writing). However, if you add new entries we would kindly ask that you share them with other SAIL users by either leaving details on this wiki or by e-mailing your new Device details and set-up information to _admin@selintra.com.

Description:

Description - Freeform Description.
Permissable values - Any valid alphanumeric string.
default - Required.

Freeform FRIEND Template

Description - scrolling window of SIP/IAX.conf tuples.
Permissable values - Any valid SIP or IAX friend tuple(s). Each tuple should be terminated with a single carriage return. Username/Secret keywords will be automatically replaced by the actual username and password when the trunk(s) is/are instantiated. CODECs will be automatically chosen according to your compression preferences (see globals). Therefore you should leave these fields as they are presented to you by the system.
Default - System provided
Note - It is rarely, if ever, necassary to provide USER/PEER entries for an IP terminal, however, if it is required you can code both vertically in the friend entry.

Freeform Provisioning Template

Description - scrolling window of device specific provisioning tuples.
Permissable values - Refer to the device manufacturer's provisioning documentation. Keywords will be automatically replaced by the actual values when the extension is instantiated.
Default - System provided
Note - Before you modify these entries you should refer to the manufacturer's documentation. Incorrect or incorrectly specified tuples may cause the device to malfunction or fail.
