Overview

Almost all of the errors and problems you will encounter on the Internet, be they related to Telephony, E-mail or internet browsing will probably occur as a result of your choice of firewall and router and the set-up of these devices. This is doubly true for Internet Telephony which is, by its very nature, somewhat complex. How you elect to run SARK UCS/MVP 's underlying server will also have an impact upon the final setup. SME Server can run in several modes, however we are only interested in two of those modes here; Server-Gateway and Server-only.
